WELCOME TO
OSWESTRY AND TANAT VALLEY INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE
ON THE BORDER OF ENGLAND AND WALES

This website is intended as a repository for industrial and historical information collected from various sources around the area. It will feature photographs, memories of local residents and copies of original documentation.

The project will start on two fronts, focussing on

1) Interactive maps dating from 1875, 1901 and 1926
(The maps within our site can be purchased - please see contacts)
2) Histories of the various communities in the area through photographs, memories and historic documents.

A short history of the area is included and, in time, there will be links and markers on the relevant maps
